Sometimes your contingency plan ends up being your favorite. This 50th birthday celebration was meant to be an outdoor barbecue, but with the rain pouring down we had to move everything indoors. We had a few smaller tables like this one setup for guests, and love how it all turned out.

This was a great time for a micro-event that brought the nearest and dearest to the party and kept the day intimate and meaningful. Micro-events aren’t going anywhere! We’re still planning them and we think it’s a trend that will continue.
