Get to Know Elevated Style Events!

Welcome to our blog!

This is me, Sese, and I’ve been doing event planning for the past 7 years. I love having the opportunity to make my client’s dreams come true with each and every event. What most people don’t realize, is that my job as an event planner is multi-faceted. Part of it involves learning the intricacies of my client’s personality-their likes and dislikes. Another part involves harnessing my people skills to ensure we secure the best possible location and vendors. And finally, I get to show off my skills as a master juggler-making sure to keep all the balls in the air for the big day!

Some fun facts about me:

1. I am Nigerian

Born to Nigerian parents, I lived in Nigeria as a child. I moved to the United States and love it here! I currently call Minnesota home. 

2. Inspiration

I draw inspiration from everything in my life, such as movies I watch, people, fashion, and interior design. I look for colors, shapes, and materials that go well together and figure out how to use them for my events.  

3. Career Change

I haven’t always been in the event planning business. My first love is nursing, and I surprisingly find myself bringing in some of my nursing skills to the event planning world. As a nurse, I advocated for my patients every day, and now, as an event planner, I advocate for my clients with the vendors we use!

4. For Fun

When I’m not planning events, I enjoy binging on my latest Netflix obsession. And believe it or not, I was part of a hip-hop dance team in school! But please don’t ask me to bust a move now!
