There’s a lot to do when it comes to planning a wedding. How do you know what to do when?
Check out this 12-month timeline to serve as your guide:
12 months out, you’ll want to:
Find your wedding planner… Hi, am here! ☺️
Decide on your wedding party. Draft the guest list.
Think about ceremony and reception venues
Around 9 months out, you should:
Have your venues booked
Shop for your gown
Book entertainment
Have vendors in place (photographer, catering, florist)
6 months out, you should:
Have the cake ordered
Find a florist and begin making selections
Think about hair & makeup looks
3 months out, you should:
Order those wedding invites
Decide on wedding favors
Have your first dress fitting
We’ll leave the last month before your wedding for another post! 😊
This is a very high-level timeline, that doesn’t mention a lot of the other stuff that goes into planning, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect.
